Fr. Géminien SERRES

The Assumptionist community of St. Sigismond in Albertville, France, is happy to inform you that Fr. Géminien Serres will celebrate his 100th birthday this Wednesday, January 17. The community would like you to join it in thought and prayer in thanking God for the many graces Fr. Géminien received in his lifetime and thanks in advance all those communities who will be thinking of him on his birthday.

Fr. Géminien would be the first Assumptionist in the history of the congregation to reach 100 years of age.

Fr. Richard meets with lay-people in Kenya

In order to reflect with his brothers on the topic of Assumptionist community life, on their consecrated life, and also on their apostolic work in view of the coming of the Kingdom of God,  Fr. Richard Lamoureux, the Superior General of the Augustinians of the Assumption, accompanied by Frs. Julio Navarro, the Vicar General, and Emmanuel Kahindo Kihugho, Assistant General, stayed with the Assumptionists of Africa from October 11 to November 17.
