P. Ephrem Kasereka Kapitula
One of the significant moments of the Council of the Congregation is to listen to what the various provinces have to say. It amounts to an overview of the Assumptionist world through the reports drawn up by the provincials.
This year we experimented with a new method of evaluation.
P. Baudouin NGOA-YA-TSHIMEMBA
Two provincials explain what their provinces have lived, and the other
members of the Council are invited to pose questions and to say what
they think. It’s a dynamic way of sharing what the congregation has
lived, as the members of the Council express themselves in all
simplicity and truthfulness. It’s a real fraternal review which aims
to help and not judge those who have spoken. A thought about what we
do with our life: we should learn to rethink it quite often.
Thanks to each one’s contribution, this exchange has become formative.
The group adopted the theme: “Life of Faith and of Prayer.”
During the afternoon, we broke down into groups and began studying the various reports.
