The whole morning is dedicated to preparing the contribution to the reflection on synodality that the congregation must make before the end of June. Miguel presented the contribution that he had written in the name of the Ordinary General Council to be given to the Union of Superiors General.

We were then invited to exchange ideas in three language groups, seeking to find concrete proposals for better living out synodality in our communities, our provinces and our works. The feedback was rich and brought out many avenues, some of them daring!

A congregation that does not have new missionary projects is a congregation in danger! Each provincial superior was invited to share the projects of new foundations that his province is nourishing both in terms of pastoral fields and new locations. We heard about youth ministry, parishes, the extension of Bayard in Africa, the "Laudato SI" community, the service of migrants, first evangelization, school institutes, rural development, the service of shrines. But also new projects in the Portuguese and English speaking world. For the latter, could we not strengthen our presence in England and in the USA with religious from East Africa? New communities could or should be founded in Congo, Korea, Vietnam, outside the diocese of Tuléar in Madagascar, in Burkina-Faso, in Togo, outside Nairobi in Kenya, in Uganda and even in old Europe! New countries are being considered; Indonesia and Ghana, even Malawi. What is certain is that the implementation of these projects will require increased collaboration between the provinces!

At the end of the day, we asked Michel Kubler to present the report of the pre-chapter commission "Communication - Social Networks"; then, Miguel, to present the progress of the work of the Justice & Peace commission in preparation for the next general chapter. Each presentation was followed by some exchanges and reactions.

The day ended with a presentation of the program for the formators' session that will be held in Rome in a few days.
