Port-Royal Center (France)

Center Port Royal Located in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley, in Saint-Lambert-des-Bois.

The story of the Centre Port-Royal began in 1963, when a group of Benedictine monks settled near the former abbey of Port-Royal-des-Champs, an important place for formatin and reflection. They created a seminar center enabling companies to gather and train their teams in the heart of the privileged natural setting of the Vallée de Chevreuse, a source of calm and inspiration. The Benedictine monks accompanied the project and built a priory.

In 2006, true to this history and these values of hospitality, the Augustinians of the Assumption took over from the monks and developed their charism here. In 2015, together with a team of lay people, they embarked on a major project to renovate, expand and modernize the Centre Port-Royal.

The new Centre Port-Royal opened its doors in July 2016 and offers its customers 10 equipped and connected meeting rooms, 55 rooms including 4 accessible to people with disabilities, a restaurant and relaxation areas.
