From March 14 to 29, 2026, Father Baudoin Ngoa Ya Tshihemba made a canonical visit to the communities of Montpellier, Nîmes and Layrac . These were precious moments for fraternal encounters, warm encouragement and fruitful exchanges. Indeed Father Ngoa encouraged and comforted the brothers in their service to the community and the local Church. On the same occasion, he also met the lay members of the Alliance and those with whom the brothers collaborate in their various missions.
In Nîmes, rue Séguier, with the Oblate Sisters of the Assumption, Father Ngoa gave thanks at the tomb of Father d’Alzon. At the church of Saints Perpétue and Félicité, he also had the opportunity to celebrate the baptismal ballot of middle and high school students from the Institut d’Alzon.
In Layrac, the visit finally coincided with the funeral of Father Pierre-Emmanuel Rospide, a key figure in the congregation, who had spent most of his life in the service of the congregation’s animation.
To conclude his visits, Father Ngoa exhorted each brother to respond to the 4 calls of the General Chapter: to fraternity, to mission, to formation and to holiness.
