Why a christian residence ?
In Assumptionist residence or community, the lives of students and young professionals are punctuated by prayer, sharing and retreats. More than just a place to stay, religious sharing offers human and spiritual enrichment through community life.

- A place for human growth
- A study-friendly environment

- Moments of sharing and encounter
- Openness to others
A life experience
A school of spiritual and fraternal life that takes place in everyday moments
“I spent two years in one of the residence in Paris. We were a dozen students and young professionals. We lived in a large house, sharing the living areas. We did, however, have our own bedroom and bathroom. Meals were also shared, every evening, and we took turns cooking. Every Tuesday, we met up with an Assumptionist father. With him, we celebrated mass together, then over a meal, we exchanged ideas on a religious theme.
We were there for each other, helping each other through the tough times of our studies, supporting each other through the trials of life and exams.
Living in a community is not easy every day, and you have to get used to everyone’s rhythm, the communal kitchen, the cleaning of the common areas, and the moods of exam periods. But it’s a house full of life that you return to every evening. Friends to celebrate Christmas, Easter and birthdays. We were there for each other to help us through the difficult times of our studies, to support us in the trials of life and exams. It’s a school of spiritual and fraternal life, which takes place in everyday moments. Home life is like family life, with brothers who are given to us for a year.”
