The General Council on a training session in Lyon and a pilgrimage to Nîmes
In January 2024, the "new" General Council took time out for two important events:
A "Government and Discernment" training session at the Centre Jesuite Châtelard in Lyon, aimed at provincial or general councils of congregations wishing to attend. We were 70 participants from 13 congregations and 31 different nationalities... This 4-day session, which is offered every year, uses a beautiful pedagogy with times for conferences, group discussions, personal interiorization, meditation, conviviality and prayer. We got a lot out of it, and will try to share as much as possible with our brothers in the provincial councils...
We then left for a 4-day pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Assumption, in Nîmes, and the tomb of our founder.
