The Superior General, in its Ordinary Council of April 3, 2024, has appointed
Father Marcos Antônio DIAS
Provincial Superior of Brazil
Born in Vieiras (MG) in 1980. First vows in 2002. Ordained priest in 2007. Graduated in philosophy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas and in theology from the Institute of Superior Studies in São Paulo. He holds a master's degree in philosophy from the Faculty of São Bento.
Fr. Marcos Antônio has already assumed many responsibilities within the Province: provincial assistant, provincial bursar, provincial secretary, provincial formator, parish priest...
We also warmly thank Fr. Luiz Gonzaga DA SILVA, for his 9 years of service as Provincial of Brazil.
