A gesture of hope towards our elder sisters
The general community visited the Oblate sisters in Petriolo (Florence)
The community of Due Pini decided to respond to the Superior General's call for a gesture of hope—modest and local—to mark the jubilee year 2025. This took the form of a celebration on November 21 (the Dies Natalis of our founder) with our senior Oblate sisters from the community of Petriolo in Florence. It was also an opportunity to strengthen our ties with our brothers from Borgo Pinti and the other Oblate sisters who joined us for the event. The warm and devoted welcome from the two Florentine Oblate communities and our brothers allowed us to enjoy a very fraternal time and some wonderful visits under the guidance of Fr. Giuliano Riccadonna.

The short note sent by our sisters expresses well the joy given and received:
« Happy Feast of Christ the King.
Our community expresses its deep gratitude for your visit to our community. It was an honor for us. The sisters thank you very much.
Your presence brought a light of hope and love that touched the hearts of all the sisters. Thank you very much. United in prayer.
