effective January 1, 2026, for an initial term of three years
Born in Roubaix (France) in 1979. First vows in 2006. Ordained a priest in 2012. Chemical engineer (Hautes Études Industrielles, Lille). Doctorate in Patristic Theology (St. Augustine and the Book of Isaiah).
Fr. Nicolas Potteau has already assumed many responsibilities: Superior of the community in charge of our Youth Hostel (Paris-François I); Editor-in-chief of “Itinéraires Augustiniens” and member of the Institute of Augustinian Studies; Formator, Master of Novices, coordinator of the Internovitiates of Chevilly-Larue; Teacher at the Catholic University of Lyon; High school chaplain; Parish vicar ; Delegate to the Provincial and General Chapters; Member of the Supervisory Board of Bayard; Member of the Provincial Council...
We warmly thank Fr. Nicolas POTTEAU for his generous availability, as well as Fr. Fabien Lejeusne, Fr. Iulian Danca, his provincial vicar, who has ensured continuity in recent months, and all the members of the outgoing Provincial Council for their years of service to the government of the Province.
